I've been very remiss in writing anything. Not that I've lost interested in writing...I just have been so busy lately. Ok....so the season starts in just two weeks and I can't be more excited. Two nights ago we had our annual safety meeting for the cull hunt. Not much has changed other than the town would like us to not get any closer to houses than the current 450 feet. Even though the state has amended that for bow hunting to be 150 feet (which is WONDERFUL) It doesn't bother me to stay where I am. The spots that I hunt are just on the border so for me, relaxing the restrictions to 150 just makes me feel more comfortable where I'm at.
Before I went on vacation I went up to the club to fix up a bunch of stands. Tony said that we were going to possibly try food plots this year. While I was on vacation, Tony called to see if I wanted to go to the club. I obviously couldn't...so I'm assuming that they went there to plant.
Well...other than the occasional walk through the woods that I've been doing during lunch...I'm just waiting anxiously for Sept. 11th!!
